I do stupid shit like this all of the time too. :) It makes people crazy...like, what the hell are you doing....he is going to fall in to the spikes you drilled in to the floor below him. Or....what if the rope brakes and he falls in to the fire. My answer. I'm a trained professional. ;-)
And, re: the above comments, I have a picture of Violet at about 4 months on a shelf inside the (ceramic) pasta bowl. Danger! Danger! But it's the cutest picture.
