Our now middle daughter

Julia is wild and crazy as usual. She is constantly on the go and TALKING. She loves loves loves to talk about anything and everything. She has met a new friend through homeschool co-op that is also wild and crazy and loves to talk talk talk. Julia is taking a 10 week drama class through co-op this term. She LOVES it. I'm not sure how much acting they are learning but they sure are having fun which is the most important part of a class like that. She has been invited to her very first sleep over by her new friend. She's totally excited about that. Julia is also participating in a homeschool group called cool kids care (ckc). We are going swimming this friday. Two fridays a month they do some sort of community service. One Friday a month they have a fun get together (tye dying, swimming, capture the flag, etc). One Friday a month they are going on a field trip (Waxman Candle company to dip candles, a member's ranch to learn about ranch life and run around and play, etc). Both girls are involved in this activity and are VERY excited about the possibilities it brings. Juli bean also has park playdates almost every single Thursday starting next week. Julia loves math, science, and social studies. She loves reading about new places and learning continents, oceans, and landforms. She is also really excited to start in her new math book (thanks "Aunt" Shelly!!!) She is a whiz at science and if anyone out there is looking for fun academic activities to do with their kids the R.E.A.L. Science for 1-4th grade is amazing. It's the life science packet. SHe is about to learn about the circulatory system where we use Karo Syrup (plasma), red hots (red blood cells), Lima Beans (white blood cells), and Dried Lentils (platelets) to demonstrate it. Super easy and super fun. She is the most caring loving person. So excited to watch her grow.

She also chose her own poses for this blog post. :)
