So if today wasn't stressful enough to have Jess go back to work for the first time since Delaney was born, have Delaney be upset all day and clingy because of a growth spurt, but let's add on Charlotte having a sleepover with TWO friends from school. So this evening both girls showed up for their sleepover. Does anyone know what kind of drama is created when 3 teeny bopper girls get together? Everything is super serious one second and then dramatic and then silly. It's interesting to watch these three go from trying to act like adults and then five minutes later acting like they are 7. They even attempted to have conversations at dinner about calories (ALL THREE are super duper skinny not that that matters but for real...they could use some extra meat on their bones). So when Jess got home from work she asked them if they wanted donuts for breakfast or if they'd prefer oatmeal and yogurt...she'd hate to get them donuts if they were sooo worried about calories. They quickly changed their tune and asked for the donuts! Our girls don't eat much sugar or junk food at all...we prefer they eat healthy foods because they get bombarded with other food when they eat other places so pizza for dinner and donuts for breakfast are a special treat.
Anyway of course they wanted to hold Delaney and of course I took pictures of it.

And I feel like every baby should have a picture of themselves in a laundry basket...so tonight that opportunity arose for Delaney to have hers taken!
